The Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Developer who’s excited to shape the foundation of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our platform is performant, scalable, and secure for engineers working on complex mechanical designs. This is a high-impact role with room to influence architecture, automation, and deployment strategy from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native infrastructure using AWS (EKS, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudFront, etc.).
- Own our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes) to enable rapid and safe delivery of new features.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and simulation engineers to support build environments and staging/test infrastructure.
- Set up monitoring and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Help ensure platform security — from secrets management to environment hardening and vulnerability scanning.
- Optimize system performance for 3D model rendering, compute-heavy design simulations, and real-time collaboration workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotation and help triage system-level issues in production environments.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- A deep understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration.
- Bonus: Experience in securing cloud environments and implementing DevSecOps practices.
